Cannellones Palmsticcio Stuffed With Ricotta and Spinach
- 1 can Palmsticcio
- ½ cup onion diced
- 1 tsp garlic diced
- 4 cup spinach
- 2 tsp butter
- 2 cup ricotta
- Salt and pepper
- 1 cup Tomato sauce (homemade style)
- 1 cup Mozzarella cheese grated
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese grated
In a saucepan you put the butter to heat, add the garlic and onion, then put the spinach until they cook a little. You add salt and pepper to taste. Let it cool and mix it with the ricotta.
You drain the can of Palmsticcio. You put the layers one on top of the other to make it wider, the ricotta and spinach filling is served in the middle and you start to roll carefully until the cannelloni are formed.
In the container that you are going to take to the oven, put the tomato sauce in the bottom and carefully place the stuffed Palmsticcio cannelloni, cover them with the mozarella and Parmesan cheese and bake at 350 F until golden brown, approximately 40 min.
