Easy Tuna Fried Rice with Olive Oil | High-Protein 15-Minute Meal

3 cups cooked white rice

3 cans JEGO® Tuna in Olive Oil

1 cup diced onion

2 garlic cloves (or 1 tsp minced garlic)

½ cup green onions

1 cup chopped leeks

2 cups frozen mixed vegetables

½ tsp garlic powder
-
½ tsp onion powder
-
1 tsp turmeric

Salt & pepper to taste
HOW TO MAKE TUNA FRIED RICE:
1. Build the Flavor Base
Drain the tuna directly into a large skillet, using the olive oil from the can as your cooking oil. Heat over medium heat and sauté the onion and leeks for 3–4 minutes, until soft and fragrant.
2. Add the Vegetables
Stir in the frozen vegetables, cover the pan, and cook for about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender and well combined.
3. Incorporate the Rice
Add the cooked white rice to the skillet. Stir well so the rice absorbs all the flavors from the vegetables and olive oil.
4. Fold in the Tuna
Add the tuna and gently break it apart with a spoon. Cook for 2 minutes, just until heated through.
5. Season and Serve
Season with garlic powder, onion powder, turmeric, salt, and pepper. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Serve hot and enjoy.
