BBQ with Guava Shells
INGREDIENTS
- 1 can Guava Shell
- 1 cup sugar
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup dark rum
- ¼ tomato paste
- ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 tsp minced onion
- 1 tsp minced fresh ginger foot
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp ketchup
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- ¼ tsp chili pepper powder
- Salt and pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
Open the can of GUAVA SHELL, separate the syrup from the shells. Process the shells in a blender and separate (1 can is a 1 processed cup).
Into a saucepan place a guava processed, sugar, vinegar, dark rum, tomato paste, lemon juice, soy sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, onion, garlic, ginger, all ingredients. Bring to simmer over medium-heat and whisking until every blender. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until sauce has thickened slightly and tastes rich, about 20-30 minutes or until thickened. Serve them with pork ribs, chicken wings, or whatever you like
Serve hot or cold
